Description Here are a few new screenshots from my game "Bloodmasters". It is still in alpha stage, many textures and sounds are still borrowed from other games and there is still a lot of programming to be done, but we are working hard to get it all done.
Today I'm showing you the new weapons and their effects as well as the teleport which works with projectiles too! Because the screenshots can not do it justice, I have recorded a demo video. The video is somewhat large (111 MB) because the compression degrades graphic quality rapidly with this type of video. Anyway download and watch the weapons demo.
I know the maps do not look that good yet, but thats because they are only built to test things out. Only the map in the first, featured image (Tower of Darkness) is one that I think could qualify as a decent map for the final game. It's a very small, but detailed (team)deathmatch map set on top of a tower. Walk off the edge and you will fall off into the void. For now, only bullet weapons are placed on this map.
Still to be done are the powerups, which give magical powers to its carrier. For example: while carrying the "Static" powerup, everyone who comes close to you gets an electrical shock. There will also be moving platforms, doors, animated map parts (lava, water, etc) and many (team based) game types (CTF, Last Man Standing, Red Rover, etc).

Update: I have recompressed the weapons movie to 24 MB (download here) and made a movie showing my recent additions: The static powerup and additional lighting from the projectiles (download here, 6 MB).
