ChevyRay, the author of FlashPunk, got No.1. That's pretty cool. It's nice to see an author of an engine actually using it.
The best (maybe only) way to make a useful engine, is to have games drive its development. Anyone who makes an engine in isolation - with the intention of later, when it is done, using it to make a game - is doing it wrong
And in addition, ChevyRay usually makes quite good games!
