Hi all, I am planning on using MOD,XM,IT as the primary music interface for my game engine. Problem is there arn't much resources about the file formats and how they are used. If anyone have some information about them please let me know! Or even better Tracker Players source codes in windows platform..

I personally have used quite a few audio modules in some of my past projects. There are quite a few audio libraries out there that will enable you to very easily play back these files, with a considerable amount of control over the process. You don't actually *need* to learn the format, as long as you have the audio-modules you alread need (there are quite a few good trackers for modules. If you would like a list of some of my favorites, just reply =) ).
Consider using Bass (http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html)
It has very accurate playback, and is rather simple to use.
Fmod(http://www.un4seen.com/bass.html) also is rather popular, and has a larger user base, but doesn't play modules "perfectly" =)
There are a few other decent ones (mpp sdk comes to mind), but they arn't nearly as widespread.
Anyways, hope this helps.

Ahh i checked out the websites, but problem is i keep on running into sdk's that require licencing for commercal products.. Something i planned for this project of mine to go into the market. So that it's a no go'. Im not even sure if using other file formats but building your very own player is even legal.. Since some trackers like MODTRacker are free i wouldn't have to program a tracker all together. I even ran apon the Scream Tracker SDK licenced under non-commercial products.. ahhhh well i may just reinvent the wheel all together based on MIDI *sigh*
