So... I'm starting my own graphics engine with the purpose of learning. After a long time postponing my experiments with graphics programming, i started reading NeHe's tutorials and ended up deciding to create a real project instead of a shitload of snippets. However, i'm having a very difficult time "getting to know modern OpenGL". My experience lies on NeHe's tutorials and modifications to the Quake engine, so, i'm pretty fucked up.
I wanted to follow all the good practices... since i'm starting now, i don't want any old vices getting in my way. Also, preparing my engine with OpenGL ES in mind is also good. So, people, any good links or books?
