Are there any function provided by windows that can read from the screen buffer? Or am I going to have to write some assembly? I have searched allot for information about this, and even searched through the windows headers....no luck. Maybe it is not refered to as the "screen buffer"...I am talking about the data that you see on the monitor(a screenshot like pressing print screen).
Try the win API WriteConsoleOutputCharacter
Use your win32 API reference for help. I'm an assembly guy but I think you can access it from C++. It is considered a low level call
