SAN FRANCISCO (April 6, 2004) – The Art Institute of California – San Francisco invites high school seniors with talent, commitment, and ability in the fields of applied arts and design to apply for partial- or full-tuition scholarships in its 2004 scholarship competition.
Scholarships are available for students pursuing degrees in Graphic Design, Media Arts and Animation, Game and and Design, Visual and Game Programming, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Multimedia and Web Design, and Fashion Design.
Scholarship awards are based on the quality of projects submitted by high school seniors who demonstrate ability and commitment to studying in the school’s programs. Students may qualify for one of up to nine full-tuition scholarships of up to $70,000 each, or one of a variety of partial scholarships depending on submissions.
To find out complete details and to enter, students may obtain a Scholarship Competition Entry Form from the school by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 888-493-3261. The entry deadline is April 30, 2004.
Student must fulfill general admission guidelines and competition guidelines, including a 250-word essay, educational resume, letters of recommendation and entry form. In addition, students will need to submit samples of artwork relating to each individual program.
The school is currently accepting applications for entry into its programs starting Summer Quarter (July 12), and Fall Quarter (Oct. 4).
