Finally got the guts to go do a painting on plaster! Cant beat the feeling of doing something with more permanence.
The black is a spray can job, make sure you have a fan blowing to a stovetop turned on, or the propellant fumes will drop you dead. After the black was put on, I was a little shocked and i didnt know what I was looking at, because of the extra contrast blowing the picture out of proportion.
I got that nice edge from masking tape, which takes ages to put down and take off, I actually stuffed up because I forgot to press down the tape afterwards, and I got a bit of a leaky edge, So if your using tape, make sure you give it a good rub down before you start spraying to get it firmly against the wall, also watch out when rubbing it down it will come off if your not careful.
Whats going on next ->
a) some bloomage inside, b) a sunset in the nortical view, c) top and bottom warmth trims will be finished, d) some extra discontinuities put in to enhance some of the edges which arent in clear enough, e) and a metallic trim on the outside of the black, should look nice.! B)
