Mine is a can of WD-40 Which was my nickname on Flipcode
actually it's the real-life logo found on those WD-40 cans
for more infos, click here
oh, and the new WD-40 BIG BLAST™ can can now spray at 4.65g/second! That's a huge improvement over the original WD-40 can which could spray stuff at only 1.3g/second.

Mine is of my first favorite game, Pong.
francois_hamel at September 6th, 2004 16:42 — #7
speaking of old games...anyone ever played "Grog" on the C64? It was one of my favorite game back then but it seems not much people played it. You were a caveman on a unicycle and you needed to pickup some sea-shells or something without getting caught by another big hairy caveman.
sounds silly eh?
take a look at it: Grog's Revenge

mine is seraph from the matrix™. It's not so much that I think I am seraph, but more that neo uses his new-found powers, even if what he see's doesn't make sense to him.
I guess it symbolizes my new-found yearning to teach/share information. and that I'll open my eyes to new and/or different ideas, even if it doesn't make sense to me at first.

"anyone ever played "Grog" on the C64?"
Haha, I loved that game. I thought about doing a fun remake of it, but it's been so long that I forgot the mechanics of it.
As for my avatar he's an Umpalumpa. Umpalumpas come from Lumpaland, but Willy Wonka secretly transported them to live and work safely in his factory. Lumpaland had creatures called Horn Swagglers, Rotten Vermicious Kinids, and Swangdoodles that would eat 10 Umpas for breakfast and think nothing of it.

Oh, and perhaps this avatar suits your nickname better, SnprBob =P

Nice image! I'll stick with what I've got to maintain professionalism (as if a smilie is professional), but thanks anyway.
That bring up something interesting though: where does everyone's nick come from?
Mine is from the orignal Rainbox Six long before I ever had a good web nick name. I used my initials "BDB" as my name and always played as a sniper character. Sadly, the game had the worlds shittiest font and many people read the 'D' as an 'O' and refered to me as "bob". After being really annoyed by this several times I changed my name to "BdB" to make it clear and several people then asked me what clan "BdB" stood for!!! I went insain, cried alone in my room for a few days (or not), and then changed my Rainbox 6 name to "BoB".
Fast forward 6 to 8 weeks later when I needed a new AOL Screen Name...

my nick is based on a long story, wich made me start getting interested in game programming, and all. the nick got created by the same reason i'm in there.. the dream of the wow-game i could develop.

My avatar is meant to represent the stinking, rotting corpse of the war-ghoul, resurrected by the power of the devil to reign over mankind once again.
My nick? It's a christian thing
