So... I have this wild Idea that I want to make a game! I know its bloody hard work and takes a good lot of time, but if I can get a bit of help and support I think I would be prepared to do it.
I want to make a Motorbike game. Where you ride motorcycles and it specializes in Wheelie stunts. I want to have the physics or game so its easy to lift the front wheel etc. Will be good to start out on a simple game though.
So.. which is the best game engine to use with realistic physics? Too many game engines out here have amazing graphics but the physics are garbage. Also, I can't do Coding. Everything about coding is a big no no for me never liked that stuff. Maybe game dev aint my thing...
There are a couple 3d engines that don't have coding as a requirement. You are right in choosing a physics type game for this, since anything that has decisions needs coding. One is the Blender Game Engine. The other is 3d Rad. The Blender game engine has the advantage of also being a modeler for you to make your game models.
Coding can be a lot of fun once you learn it, so it's something to keep in mind for later. You can later add python scripts to the Blender game engine.
A big problem with the physics-approach to racing games is that the game often becomes boring or unplayable.
It is often a better idea to code something completely unrealistic, that FEELS right, rather than a faithful simulation.
The experience of actual driving is so different from playing a game that accurate physics simulations makes little sense. Your field of vision is not the same, you don't feel the G-forces and bumps on the road, you have a very limited and inprecise input, etc.
